Before people start telling me to always use protection and all that I would be excited to be pregnant.....

I have a very irregualr period since being off the pill. I had sex right after my period ended and am curious what the chances are that I may be pregnant.....any advice from people that have experience would be great! I am having some symptoms as well, but it would be really soon....anyone get symptoms really early in pregnancy?

It is possible to conceive right after your period ended. The average woman ovulates on day 14 (day 1 being the first day of her period); however, in realilty, women's cycles differ in lengths and we do not all ovulate at the textbook time.

I have known some women who have had symptoms of pregnancy before they have a positive home pregnancy test.

If you think you are pregnant, take a home pregnancy test, but be aware, it will probably take about 10 days after conception before you will get an accurate result. It can just take that long for the hormone HPT's test for to build up and show up in your urine.

Chances are slimmer than they would have been immediatley before your period, though its hard to predict with yours being irregular. You discarded the egg your body prepared for you to make a baby during your period, so your body has to recover and put a new egg in place for you to get pregnant.

Pregnancy is unlikely but some women get pregnant easily by the smallest possibilities.

You can actually get pregnant during your period. If you noticed any wet 'stuff' besides *** during your period, you most likely are. Take a EPT if not sure.

My cousin had her period as usuall last month, she started throwing up and everything and when she was taken to doctor the doctor told her she was two months. My cousin had no clue that she was two months. So its possible.
