I am currently a receptionist at a plastic surgeon's office, even though I absolutly love my job I do not plan on being a receptionist forever. I am currently attending college, still trying to figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life.

went through the corporate ladder from assistant mgr up to regional mgr in control of a state. worked for others, ran good handful of businesses. mid 20's I got sick of being a suit and tie, life of ulcers and popping pills w/ coffee, so I quit.

Today, 10 yrs later and still going....self employed artist. Be 10 yrs this May. Computer geek and programmer on the side, but I consider that art as well, just in another form.

Best advice I can give you bout life....

Don't do a job for money, don't do a career for money, don't base your life on money. Do what you love, do what makes you happy, where your passion can shine. THEN once you passion shines, the money will come...and come more than you ever dreamed. Cause people are attracted to passion.

People are the key to happiness....not money, money just creates more issues to handle.

I currently work in advertising and have, in some way/shape/form, since I graduated six years ago. I'm learning now that direction was not the right one and now have to figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life.

Life/career is ever-flowing. Who you are now may not be who you are in ten years. I suggest always being aware of who you are, going with the flow of life and making sure you're happy along the way.

I am a mom & I have been a waitress/bartender since before she was born.

I LOVE being mom!!! And yes, I hope I have that job forever!
The waitress job I enjoy, mostly because I get out with other adults a few nights a week and I like being able to contribute financially to the household.

Oral Surgery Assistant it is a career to me. I was unemployed through my pregnancy now my baby is 8 months old and just started working again, didn't think anyone would give me a chance again. I am very grateful. How would I have paid daycare on min. wage?
