I'm married and looking to make new friends. It seems like society thinks only single people need friends.

I have the same problems with sites that say distinctly: For singles, dating, chatting, friends and networking. All I'm on the site for is making internet friends and chatting with people with similar interests. First thing I get are guys thinking I'm advertising for sex.
And dang! If they are in Nigeria... I swear.. No, I do not love you, No I'm not interested in a relationship with you.. and no! I'm not your free ride out of Africa!

you're right. Society has their head up their butt in alot of ways, and they don't think married people need friends, I guess.
