You need to describe this incident with a little more "clarity"?
Did he trip you on purpose, or shove you, trip you? Just because a person is a Christian doesn't mean we always like another person's personality..Most of the time you just need to try to discover something about the person. If you don't know anything about this person, the fact that he irritates so much means this is your problem.
Based on what I can understand of what you wrote here, I have to say NO. It wasn't right to egg his house.
Now if this person pushed, shoved, or tripped you on purpose like it was a prank or a joke and destroyed your property (camera & glasses)? Then he needs to help pay for the restoration or replacement of said items.

You guys are Christians?

Did you read over your question?

How can two young Christian men behave in such a matter.

Whatever happened to turn your other cheek?

No it is not right to egg his house.

He is not right in offending you in the first place.

Talk to you youth adviser at the church about this.

It sounds like he is crying out for help, and quite often people hurt those close to them by doing "bad" things.
Chances are he is not a "bad" kid, he is just doing bad things.

Get some help with this one.

No you reduced yourself to his same level...so, HE ACTUALLY "won" IF you could "call" it that...actually you are both on the same asinine level. And yeah, what comes around goes around is true...but you're not the "doctor" who "prescribes" it! GOD is...and that my friend, is a job for ONLY HIM. The bible does say, "VEGEANCE IS MINE, SAIETH THE LORD." Which, translates to mean that revenge is not for you or i to dish out...and so help the poor pitiful man who tries to dish it out, too, because the only one who justifies who gets what is the KING HIMSELF...and you, my poor, pitiful friend, are nowhere even on that map! Revenge, in YOUR case, is a dish best served.....cold.

yes i think you were right because your glasses and your camera was expensive you might have to replace the glasses and the camera but all he has to do is wash the eggs off his house.

I wouldn't of egged his house, I'd have waited and got him back when he least expected it with something more devious!!!
