Everyone here seems so mired in the present. At least take a look at something so exhilarating as Doug Fairbanks' Mark of Zorro, Errol Flynn's Adventures of Robin Hood, or even Burt Lancaster's Crimson Pirate.

300, die hard, Grind House (this will be released next month), Sin City, Letters from Iwoa Jima, Saving Private Ryan, The Departed. They are all good films.

300 was pretty alright, most epic movies have some good action, also crank was alright, district 13 was alright too, and bon cop bad cop-but your right i haven't seen any "great" action movies lately.

Face-Off is one of the best in my opinion. But these days there are some pretty good comic book movies... I think the Spiderman's are the best of those.

you should try and see the chronicle of riddick...pitch black..(both played by vin diesel)...and curse of the golden flower great too! and kingdom of heaven...(orlie look so damn good!)
