Someone twice your age acting like a little kid, or someone who you have dismissed and insists on being there.

Fortunately that doesn't happen to me too often. However, every time we get together with my husband's uncle (Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.) I just want to smack the man. He is such an antagonist. He has lost 3 wives and 3 children because of his argumentative nature. He just can't let ANYTHING go.

Is your brother at it again?

Where I used to work the majority of the women there were close to if not twice my age. I swear it was like high school all over again! I still can't believe all of the pettiness and backstabbing that went on there. So there has probably been a couple thousand times I wanted to say that! I was there 6 years!

Actually happened just this past half hour...not someone twice my age, but someone who was, for sure, a chronological adult! (over 40) and acting like a spoiled kid. Which he is.

I haven't had that happen but if someone I knew were to become annoying I feel I could handle it in a nice way and move on without leaving any battle scars and still have a friend when it was over.

Tell them! Get it off your chest!

I tend to tell people what I am thinking now since I have learned to speak up!
