One thing to consider is that in our 30s, fertility can decline significantly, and it's as likely to be related to age as it is PCOS. You may want to talk to your doctor about whether taking birth control pills to regulate your cycle is the best plan, or if you might want to consider Clomid, metformin or a combination of the two to help you get pregnant.

The only thing I can suggest is to take the pills to make your cycle regular and then try. Start trying as soon as you finish your last pack of pills when your cycle is still somewhat normal from the bc. This way, you can predict about what part of the month that you will ovulate. It might take a few months for it to work, if it does. I have pcos too and fortunately, that is the only problem that I never had; I always become pregnant easily, I just have problems during or lose them in my 1rst trimester.

First of all, how's the family situation? Happily married? No major behavioral problems with the other 4 kids? Money in the bank? (At least enough to get you all through 6 months of no other money coming in)

Thought about adoption?
