It seems to me, that women who kill their own child must have hardened their heart so much they forsake their conscience and their own motherly instinct. It seems like they would have to be pretty cold hearted to do such a thing. What do you guys think?

Please answer my question. I did not ask wether or not women have a right to abortion or if you think they should have a right to abortion or even if this question should or should not be put in polls and surveys.

I couldnt agree more. i mean why would someone do that to a child? a living person? It makes me mad to think about it. I wouldnt be able to live with myself knowing i did that. but i guess we would have to be in there position to understand ya know? But i guess sometimes its factors like too young and didnt meant to have it. or got raped and couldnt look at a baby with thinking about how it got here. im not really sure but it does seem coldhearted. but i do no alot of people who have had abortions. personally though im way against it. but this is a good question...

Sometimes.
But some other women that have abortions are going WITH their motherly instincts. They know it's just the wrong time to bring a baby into the world and want to protect it from a poor life lived without a mother AND a father or born into poverty.
I think that many abortions are done with a very loving instinct.

in the case of rape or incest a woman has every right to abort a child in my opinion other than that if she just screwed up by spreading her legs in the heat od passion there is no reason for abortion there are couples wanting adoption all the time but one bad thing about adoption is sometimes they go to abusive families but how can u tell if the parents are abusive i think that when they find abusive parents we should have the right to smack them around a little to

I think you can not get into another person's head and heart and shoes, so it is impossible to tell.
At the same time, I am not saying that good and evil are relative.

P.S. Almost 35 years ago, as an unwed mother, I chose the adoption route. And guess what? Change your word from "kill," to "give away", and you will know what I heard over and over and over.

No. I think they are feeling pushed into a corner and don't have the ability right then to know how to get out of that corner. They are misled to think that is the only way out of the situation. You and I know there are other answers, but we are not in that corner they feel they are in. They are probably scared right then, too. My heart hurts for them to be that hopeless. I also hurt for their unborn baby.

I have convictions against abortions and wish there were less of them but as long as the laws says it's OK to have, who am I to say what a woman can or can't do to a unborn human life.

No I don't think she is...You make it sound like an abortion is an easy decision & it is definitely not..Its the biggest or one of the biggest decisions a woman could make in her life..I can guarantee their reasons in doing so are not trivial & its their life to deal with no one elses..

That is soo judgmental of you...Women have abortions for different reasons and most of them its not because they have cold hearts..it could be they know they can financially support the child or sumthing else...you cant judge someone unless you have been in their shoes
