that would be 44 years ago for me. his name is Frank. i had not seen him since 3rd grade when i moved away. i ran into him..hmmm, last winter, and recognized him at once, after not seeing him for 43 years.
he remembered me, but did not recognize me.

Yes. I also remember her sister's name and one of her cousins. I spent a lot of time there. I could even understand her grandmother lots of times and she spoke only Spanish with no teeth.

Her name was Kathy. She was bigger than I and she'd give me airplane rides (holding one of my arms and one of my legs). We climbed the monkey bars together and we had long discussions about how stupid boys were. We were friends until the sixth grade.
