Why live to be 65?

You're not worth anything to us now!

Well if you turn 65 and all you do is nothing then sure, your just waisting YOUR life.

If you live your life and then retire, and actually have money that you have saved you can travel the world. You can hop on to a crusie ship instead of live in an active adult community, its actually cheaper!!

If you think like that now, you probably wont live to be 65....

The real purpose? To tell your grandchildren some really great stories. Or maybe to write a book. Why stop at 65? If you want to think that way, what is the point of living at all?

65 isn't old by today's standards. Seniors are still very capable of doing many of the things they use to. It may take them longer, but they have wisdom and all the stories, and are the keeper of the family "stuff". I care for an 81 year old, and he needs a bit of help, but is still very happy to be here. Says he isn't ready for a dirt nap just quite yet.

Ha, you have no clue.

When you are 65, you will beg for more time. No lie.

Mark my words, write this down, save it in an envelope.. Open it again on your 65th birthday.

When you open it, read and do this:
"Everything positive that you always wanted to do, but were too busy working to do."

I don't know your age, but that statement is one that only
someone young would make. Life is a gift, and when you
get older, time passes quickly. You look back and wonder
where the hell the time went. When you think about your
future, you wonder how many more years you will have to
enjoy life. Time goes by fast, so don't wish it away.

the purpose you will have is to be there with your family and love your children and grand-kids.
i have just lost my father almost a week ago..
and i cry every minute of the day that he will not see my oldest or youngest daughter graduate get married..
he was only 63 if only he could be here i know he would not be asking that question...

Oh, come on!!! No one is worthless. Being a grandparent or teaching the youth is always a positive force.
