Well, if blacks were still slaves...half of our entertainment industry would be gone...we would have no immigrant labor, other races would probably be discriminated against as well. Due to the lack of buying power, our economy would be in bad shape. Its an interesting question...i dont think we would be a superpower if 13% of our population were "property".

We would certainly be ostracized by the rest of the world. We would have to be a backward society cut off from the rest of the world if the instituion of slavery were to survive to this day,

hmm.. lets say the countless inventions free African Americans invented, would be non- existent. Music today would be extremely bland and not as it is today. Most of all Pro sports would be extremely extremely boring, so uh no blacks in the NFL...

How much better off would the USA be if the Native Americans weren't nice and allowed them to come. Should of kept them off this land. How the world would be a greater place.
