It is a great TRAGEDY that in India we equate FEMALE BODY EXPOSURE AND ARTIFICIAL AND TWISTED EXPRESSIONS as the hallmark of modernity and superiority. This writer IS NOT QUESTIONING THE FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT OF MANDIRA TO EXPOSE HER *** OR POSE HERSELF ARTIFICIALLY, but it pains this writer to observe that "giants" of Cricket like Boycott, Barry Richards ... etc are able to accept this cacophony, in the name of "variety for better viewer attraction"...when it is VERY CLEAR that not one Knowledgeable Cricketer/ cricket enthusiast in our country would want such people to be involved in anything relating to PUBLIC EXPOSURE/ PRESENTATION in cricket.

Some times back we saw Ms Anjum Chopra along with the stalwarts. But she was GOOD not only in her style and composure, her being a Cricket Player herself could be gaged from her expertise qualities too. And also compare this cacophony of S-Max with the excellent presentations in ESPN and TEN SPORTS. The difference is enormous. In all these channels, the time available before the start of a game (for nearly two hours), is opened out to presenting some most wonderful performances of the past, followed by lively discussions on the various aspects of cricket.

Through these columns, this writer also wishes to ask::

It is starnge that whereas the dress pattern of all men in such discussions gives an indication that they are in winter clothes (with total Suit piece), the dress code of the lady in question shows that she alone is in a very HOT, HUMID tropical country (wearing relatively lesser clothes and exposing lots of ***). How can this be the case in the same room?
Again, this is not to question the fundamental right of the individual..only that ... is it what the viewers want?

In the area of men's cricket she has no business to be there. It's all very boring to listen her absurd remarks & poorest knowledge of cricket. Can she tell & explain the clear difference between an off spin & a googly at all ? Her look does not provide any sweet attraction too to the viewers. Any six feet tall white girl of green eyes even on sweeper's job in Srinagar, Kashmir is much more attractive than her, undoubtedly.

With due respect she even doen't fit as a grass cutter or cleaner of the ground. She seems to be as a cricket B*I*T*C*H. I'm afraid even if she knows how many players are there in a team. She has been just selected, because she is ready to wear any kind of dress, showing her brests which are artifical & operated. She has spoiled the game, I would like to ask our High Court, that they ban the AXN channel because of a silly reason, but here MANDIRA BEDI is wearing bull **** dresses & this is even watched by small kids, so where is our High Court now.
She must be kicked off from the sports.
