When the US was attacked by Japan on December 7th,1941,Britain had been at War with Germany and Britain for
over 2 Yrs. Very soon after Japans attack,Franklin Delano Rooosevelt(FDR),the President of the USA,and Winston Churchill,British Prime Minister secretly met to Discuss War Strategy. The Arguements were heated, both men wanting to make sure his nations interests were looked after. In the End Both Men decided that The Allies would focus Most War Plans and Materials against Hitlers and Mussolinis defeat. Both Men also promised Josef Stalin,of the USSR,that a "Second Front" to the war would be opened against Germany. This would alleviate some of the Pressure the USSR was getting from Germany in the Easten Front. This Strategy left just enough spare Material and Men to oppose the Japanese in The Pacific. After Jan.,1945,when Defeat was Certain for Germany,The Allies(Churchill,FDR,and Stalin
agreed that Men and Material would flow to the Pacific to Hasten Japans Defeat.
