Have you ever lived in an all electric apartment? How much is/was your bill? I'm in the NorthEast of the US (cold winters)

Before my husband and I got married he lived in an apartment that was ALL electric and the bills weren't pretty. They get you in the summer with the air conditioning and the winter with the heat. Plus cooking, especially using the oven. I can remember months when it was well over $350. And we're in NJ.

2 bedroom, all electric, our bill is around $30-$50. But this is CA (nicer weather, but more expensive electricity) and we are in a middle floor so we are well insulated.
