i have a 1994 ford escort i was driving down the road and it started chugging kinda like it was out of gas and then it stalled we pulled over and got some gas in it but still didnt start it rolls over like it is gonna start but will not start....not really sure y can someone help me

TIMING BELT PULL THE TOP COVER OFF OF THE BELT COVER AND CHECK THE BELT. THIS CAR IS FAMOUS FOR IT THE SHOULD BE CHANGED EVERY 60 TO 70,000 MILES ..

Check the fuel filter first, it may be plugged. Then if that doesn't do it check the fuel pump and its fuse.

It may be ur fuel pump, the fuel aint pumping to ur injectors

YOU NEED A FUEL PUMP MY DADS CAR HAS DONE THAT 2 IT SUCKS BUT FORD R REALLY CRAPY CARS IF I WAS U I GET A TOYOTA OR A HONDA THEY LAST 4EVER

without more detail ......diagnosis will be difficult.........but check these.............fuel filter,fuel pump & relay/fuse.........catalitic convertor [ pluged up ].........timing chain/gear,s or belt............or check your ignition for spark. ......hope this help,s..........good luck!
