Yes, and there are reasons why that happens. Body Language is interesting.

This is cultural. In UK I notice people stand quite far apart, Americans tend to stand closer. In India noses almost touch they stand so close and in Japan a little too far apart...

The Close Talker!
Yes. I hate that! Some people don't have a self-awareness about personal space. It's annoying while it's happening, but funny when you tell people about it later.

Yes. I have a really well-developed comfort zone, so I hate it when people get too close. Sometimes I've even backed up and they've then stepped forward to maintain the same distance.

some cultures consider a sign of respect, others a sign of disrespect, so i try to keep that in mind
if i'm not sure of their intent then:
if i feel uncomfortable i put my arms across my front and glance back and forth from their feet to their eyes
even using a polite expression, that 'trick' usually works
when they step back i smile and relax my body language

Puts me in mind of a few (male) teachers I had in high school *shudders*. I had a professor like that last semester who stood too close and was always complimenting my clothes or jewelry and I dropped his class. People like that are creeps!

yes, i asked a question kind of similar to this a while ago
"violating you personal bubble"
its terribly annoying, i dont know why people do it,
also when they make too much eye contact with you,
it feels very uncomfortable
its like they are sucking the life and all the energy out of your personal bubble and breatheing it back into their ugly bubble

YES, and I hate it! I take a step back each time they step forward....if they keep on, I'll put my hand up or something as a hint. If they don't get the hint, I just tell them they're invading my space.

Most of the time when someone does this it's because they do not want you to be able to look into their eyes while talking. Psychology.
