If it ticks you off and you show it ticks you off, then you have your answer. He enjoys riling you up. Just ignore the behaviour, he will stop.

Yeah, I think this is normal. I'm 18 and I still walk around in a t-shirt and panties infront of my family. I've dont it since I was a little girl. Now if there are people over for the others in my family, I'll throw on some shorts, but infront of my sisters and my friends I walk around in a t-shirt. There is nothing wrong about it, but if it bothers you, you should tell your brother to throw on some comfy shorts, just tell him is makes u feel embarrassed and you don't want to see his down there area showing.

Not normal unless others in your family do it too. Talk to your parents about this if he doesn't stop it after you talk with him. Any child of school age should know better, especially with guests in the home. Fourteen is definitely to old.

He may just be completely comfortable with himself and doesn't see anything wrong with it. However, he probably shouldn't be doing it around your friends, but I don't think that he sounds stupid. Sure you can ask your brother why he does it if you want but don't be judgemental or critical. Let him know that it makes you uncomfortable when he does it around your friends.

He's still a boy and he feel he's Superman. But talking to him properly or through your parents may correct this habit. Tell him, that his get -up is not proper and his classmates or other people may comment behind his back about this habit.

Ask him why he does it. But I think kudos for him for feeling comfortable enough to walk around like that. This world needs more self confident people.

well I was hoping it was not normal and that my family was odd but I guess it is normal.

and if you think your brother is embarrassing, try having your 49 year old vastly over weight father do it without a shirt when your girlfriend is over visiting, yea.....I thought she was going to puke then leave me.

I don't know hat its normal, I think he should not be doing it though. He is displaying a tremendous lack of respect for you and your parents. Ask your parents help in stopping his display.
