Whenever specifics issues are adressed involving feminism, such as Vawa for exampel, those who come to the defense of feminism do not even try to engage the issue, but declare that eveybody who voices any criticism directed torwards feminism and its outcomes we have seen so far, is a woman hater who wants to see all women enslaved. Why are feminists such fanatics terrorized of debate ?

Exampels ? Just look at his forum. Whenever a guy criticises something related to feminism or points out that this and that of feminism is not in context with equality, something along the line "you just want to see all women enslaved" is beeing said over and over like a broken record no matter what the question is.

So people who criticise this or that that can be related to feminism are on par with holocause deniers ? It gets better and better. I wasnt talking about people who think women should not vote, I was referring to those who have good points, but you did read only what you wanted to read as you so often do rendering debate with you as enjoyabel as eating soup with a fork.

Alex I adressed the reactions torwards the intelligent questions as you can read in the details. You eithier tried to artidicially create a point of attack by putting words in my mouth, or you deem a question intelligent or not intelligent based on how it makes you feel.

Feminists are human first. They can get away by calling you a misogynist and sexist for questioning feminism so they do so. It's an easy way out.

Feminism has also taught women that men are constantly trying to oppress them which also has them in defensive mode.

Until men get up and start their own movement that looks out for their rights I don't see this changing.

please do give some more examples I am not too familar with Vawa..I know there are some people that would do but that is the thing organized people tend to do or say stupid things....
edited portion:in response to the additional information given

I do see alot of the feminist groups doing that they have gotten to the point that they will even bash someone who takes pride in being a woman and also will bash anyone who follows the traditional roles of a female, or having grace and being mild is seen as being week, society has had a largly had a shift over time. Women now recognize that they have alot of power and some of them decide that no one else may say something against some of the radical changes that some of the feminist groups have been demanding.

in response to Alexandria:
The statment you made started to sound rational then it somehow got off trac when did a woman became an air head for taking care of the house. I go to college I am going for Psychology I stay at home and take care of the house as well. Also Paganism does not cordinate to Feminism. Paganism is a very very small population trust me if they were the ones controling feminism there would be more rights for pagans right now.

There's a difference between criticism and ranting diatribes that attack.

Learn the difference and you'll understand why the uneducated rants on here are not tolerated. It's all in your use of language and whether or not you manage to sound intelligent.

I haven't been in this section long, but very few of the attacks against equal rights have sounded intelligent. And even fewer managed to hide the underlying misogyny of the writer.

If you point out criticisms without resorting to snarky comments, broad generalizations, and insults you'll see a world of difference in the response.

Many reasons could be true. Low-Self Esteem, Personal Identity Paranoia, Stress from other factors and questions, The Person reacting to your tone. But I figure they are reacting to the Unrational Stereotype figure in their head making the criticism, a lot like you are making a comment on the Unrational Stereotype figure in your head.

If it's of any consequense, both figures were placed there by the World at large.

"Why are feminists such fanatics terrorized of debate?"

NOW what are you talking about? Stop projecting your own personality traits on to women. There is not one feminsist on here who is terrorized by debate. It is you Cassuis who is afraid. That is why you make up tall tales and find it difficult to cope when reality is pushed on you.

Then you say;

"Just look at his forum. Whenever a guy criticises something related to feminism or points out that this and that of feminism is not in context with equality, something along the line "you just want to see all women enslaved" is beeing said over and over like a broken record no matter what the question is"

You need to stop with your childsh pouting and simply STOP blaming other people for what YOU do. Here's a couple of YOUR defensive responses Mr hypocrite:

Hmmm, looks like you got your back right up there huh cassius.

Why do you ask questions which clearly pertain to your own behavior, yet, try to pass it all off to women? Please understand, feminists will REFUSE to mother you, we REFUSE to to listen to a grown man trying to get away with only what a 7 year old would attempt. It's just not going to fly. Could this be why you're so angry? Is it because feminists prefer to treat you like a grown up instead of a child? Is it because so many of you are so afraid to grow up and face reality so instead hide behind 'mommy's skirt'? Does it feel more safe for you? Newsflash - it's dangerous to your mental health to be stuck where you are. Get out...quick. Not kidding.

People latch onto systems of thought to give meaning to their lives. Other examples could be communism, nihilism, liberalism, conservatism, Islam, Christianity, etc. If you critisize that central belief, watch out. They hold the tenets of their system by faith. To have them contradicted can bring up fear (that they might be wrong, or that someone might use power to thwart their plan of world domination). Fear turns to anger.
That's what I think. Very common, very human, very sad, very dangerous.

because very often your "criticism" involves very inaccurate assumptions. when they point this out and tell you how your question is invalid, instead of being logical and examining the possibilities of the data, you cry about being oppressed by the evil lesbo-feminazis(lol)! so much for the male=logical female=emotional theory :)

That's typically what people do when called on something--attack the messenger.

I agree that women are not second-class citizens. I agree that men and women are supposed to be equal before the law. But I see feminism as hugely irrelevant today at best, and harmful to society at worst.

I love it when the feminists think that women like me are uneducated, or they think that people like me believe women shouldn't be educated. Nothing could be further from the truth. I'm sure most men would prefer to be married to women with whom they can have intelligent conversation, instead of an airhead.

I also noticed that there's a connection between feminism and paganism/witchcraft. I read a really good article on it a long time ago, and I'm going to have to hunt it up.
