It depends on how many months pregnant are you?
If you about due date time, it could be your Mucus Plug
if not and you are still newly pregnant it could be secretions or something to that nature. Best thing to do if you are overly concerned, make a apt with your ob.
it is also not that normal to spot while you are pregnant. It could be signs of problems

It really depends on a lot of things--

How far along are you? Spotting during the 1st trimester is common and often nothing to worry about. In the 3rd trimester it can be a sign of impending labor. Either way, it's in your best interest to call your doctor and let them know. They can tell you more about what to watch out for, when to call back or consider it an emergency, etc.

You said the discharge was pink, which probably means it was fresh. Have you had intercourse or any kind of vaginal penetration in the last 48 hrs.? Did you have a doctor's appt. and have an internal exam? Are you having any problems urinating? Urinary tract infections are more common during pregnancy, and can cause bleeding.

If you call your doctor, they are likely going to go through this same list to try and figure out the cause of the spotting. Sometimes no cause is found, and the pregnancy goes on as normal and you never know. Other times, it can be an important sign of something amiss, and early intervention could make a big difference (as with UTIs). So calling your doctor is the best thing you can do right about now. You'll probably be put on "pelvic rest", meaning no heavy lifting, no intercourse, etc. But that's really not a big deal since most pregnant women aren't feeling up to sex and aren't lifting heavy things around anyway. ;)

Most likely, it's nothing, but you'll feel much better hearing it from your doctor than from us yahoos on YahooAnswers anyway! ;) Best of luck to you!

I am 6 weeks pregnant and just had this happen to me last week. I went to the ER and my HCG levels were fine, and the ultrasound showed a healthy gestational sac. So my answer is yes this is common in pregnancy to wipe a little pink. However if your really worried and it will help your nerves go in and be seen. I also had this with my son who is now 3 years old! Hope all is well!

Sounds like spotting. They say when you have bright red blood and cramps that is when you should worry. I would not this with your doctor, but like I said sounds like spotting.
I would get this after a vaginal exam or sex. I am sure it can be a result of other things too though, so give the Doc a call.
Take care and try not to worry it is probably nothing.

Too many questions still to answer. I assume you are pregnant but how far into the pregnancy? Has the pregnancy been normal to this point? Is there any symptoms of urine infection such as burning or even fever? Is there any symptom of vaginal infection such as itching, burning, or foul smelling discharge? Has there been recent intercourse? Have there been any symptoms of contracions or unusual pressure? Has an ultrasound exam during the pregnancy shown anything unusual such as low lying placenta? Not all bleeding during pregnancy is worrisome, but it depends on the answers to these and possibly more questions.

Hi, thats not so bad. as long as it wasnt bright red and heavy(enough to fill a pad) i would say you are okay, spotting during pregnancy is normal. To be sure though , just call your OB. i had spotting brown for like a week, and i was 17 weeks pregnant at the time , and i was terrified. But, my doc said as long as you are not cramping, bleeding bright red blood without pain, you are fine.

When I was about 6 wks I had red blood. Went to doctor and was diagnosed with a threatened miscarriage. As long as it doesn't get really heavy and you don't have cramps you should be fine. Just rest and no sex or heavy lifting.

How far along are you? It could be a number of things. I had it happen because of a really bad UTI, but it can also be spotting if your early on, doesn't mean miscarraige, but you should check with your doctor. Just watch yourself, relax, put your feet up and just keep an eye on it. Good luck sweetie.

Those are definitely the primary signs of being pregnant. If you're inside per week of your interval or have neglected your interval already, cross acquire a experiment. If you're additional out of your interval than that, you'll cross for your dr and they have got specific assessments that experiment for hcg which could affirm it.

I had the same thing happen to me very early in my pregnancy, my doctor had asked whether I had had sex before or around the time. I said yes, why? He said that if things get a little rough in bed and your hubby/bf hits your cervix, it causes it to bruise and bleed ever so slightly from all the rich blood vessels its carrying to protect your lil one. He advised me to take it 'easy' with the sex and it returns then to let him know. It never returned, so I was very reassured.
