hope this gives you a good idea of some good workout songs.
you should just look for songs that have a good beat and that aren't too quiet.

I listen to artists such as coal chamber, primer 55, mudvayne, pantera, metallica, pretty much anything loud or sometimes i even listen to rap loud stuff seems 2 get me the most motivated to work out tho

ekf's got the right idea apart from rap.
I used to listen to my ipod, which has everything from mellow music, to heavy music.
Now i listen to nature (i go running instead of inside work outs), n its the best music you could ask for!! :)
