My cousin wants the 2006 R6 demon light kit (red L.E.D headlights) but wants to know if they can work only at night while keeping his stock light color on during the day

Better not run red lights on the front! (unless you are a cop or F.D.)
Red lights are used by emergency vehicles such as Fire trucks, ambulances, and in some states, police. To legally use these colors on the front of any vehicle, you must be authorized to do so.

I don't use the lights anymore, but I remember the regs. and why they exist.

It's probably possible, but it might be a little complicated to set up. Also the cops are not going to be thrilled about the red headlights. My gsxr has HID low beams, they look pretty good

Red headlights? That's nuts. You won't be able to see much and you will crash.
