I have a complicated situation..My grandparent and I have had a falling out due to my father and I not having a relationship..I had not spoken to my grandparents in almost a year until recently around Christmas time..I have not seen them in over a year and I am going to be by their house on friday for a job interview..I was thinking of calling them to see if I could stop by for a visit..I'm nervous to call as to what they might say since I have not spoken with them since Christmas.I was not the one who chose to not see them or speak to them and when i did talk to them they seemed happy to hear from me. The only thing is that I asked them if we could get together and they said they would get back to me and have not..So I'm wondering is it a good idea to call and ask or just not even bother?

Your Grandparents will always love you no matter what, don't give up, keep trying, maybe they just got upset about something entirely unrelated to your situation..Talk to them just as you wrote your question.....I am a Grandfather, good luck....Nuf Said

I think you should try to bridge the gap, call them. Grandparents are VERY important people... I only had one and I always felt as if I had missed the opportunity to learn from them
