i might grab a tall chilly pop (or for you different persons, soda) like a Coke or Sierra Mist with quite a number of ice in it on a warm day. Shucks, if I weren't going to artwork interior the extremely early morning, i ought to choose for that correct now. Ah nicely. Take care and save hydrated.

i have tipped clerks or cashiers when i needed the help with a wine selection or loading larger purchase orders for a party.
i also have tipped around the christmas or new years time.
otherwise i don't feel it's necessary.

Good rule of thumb: If they ask for it by placing a jar right in front of you, don't tip them. You don't see servers and bartenders holding their hands out to the customers for their tips, so why should counter people who do much less get one?

It's not like they brought it to me, poured it or asked me if I'd like another!
Just a note about Amanda's comment... servers are paid $3.90/hr PLUS TIPS. If you don't like the practice of tipping, go place your order in a clowns mouth so you don't have to!
