I am getting only drips of water coming out of both sinks. Only fixtures affected in the house is both bathroom sink faucets. Everything else works fine and faucets worked fine, until I had to shut water down to fix frozen, broken pipes. ??? I have been told my problem is a air lock in the system.

Try bleeding your water lines by shutting off the main water supply and opening the faucets the farthest away from the water meter first - leave open. And then open the faucets closest to the water meter. Drain all the water. Close all the faucets and turn on the main water supply. Hopefully this will help. Good Luck.

your problem is NOT an airlock! the water would push the air and water out of the faucet,,, when the work was done on your frozen pipes the repair person caused a blokage somewheres in the system!!

take the aerators off the sinks and make sure they are not plugged. It may also be a plugged supply line or angle stop check here if the aerator is clear. unless you have a storage tank that works from gravity I doubt it's air locked. You may also want to check in the basement/crawl space and make sure you don't have a broken pipe, this would also kill your pressure.

turn on only the faucets that are affected. after the air is gone, water will come out.
