see, my first game was a rip off and scratched ( new my ***!) and i lost the receipt, so can i get another copy for free without it, or am i screwed? my dad doesnt wanna buy me another one p.s. Gamespot is a rip off

You can take it back to gamestop and have your dad come with you and explain the situation. Without a recipt you have no evidence so I'm unsure of what would happen, but try to have your dad with you to help explain matters.

It will depend on the store policy, but most places will let you exchange for the same game.
