I love vampires- I've read Twilight, New Moon, Forests of the Night, and Darren Shan. I need new ones!!!

You mentioned "In the Forests of the Night" but Amelia Atwater-Rhodes wrote more than just that vampire book. If you haven't read them you should check out "Demon In My View", "Midnight Predator" and "Shattered Mirror".
Some other good vampire stories are "Got Fangs?" and "Circus of the Darned" by Katie Maxwell.
"Blue Bloods" by Melissa de la Cruz
"The Silver Kiss" by Annette Curtis Klaus
"Glass Houses" by Rachel Caine.

Anne Rice's books. She wrote The Vampire Chronicles. Most of them have Lestat de Lioncourt as the main character.
Few have been made into movies: Interview With The Vampire, Queen Of The Damned, etc.

Author Charlaine Harris has a series of books with vampires as the main characters. They're supposedly quite funny, tho' I haven't read them myself.

Poppy Z Brite "Lost Souls" is good, and books by Lynsay sands also. Laurell k hamilton is also good, the latter two have some romance/sex though.

I am currently in the middle of "The Historian" by Elizabeth Kostova. Although I am not finished, and can't attest to how it ends, it has been very spell binding so far.

try tanya huff's blood books, laurel k hamiltons anita blake series , salems lot by stephen king.and if your'e into other supernatural stuff try women of the otherworld series by kelly armstrong.
