I rented GRAW (the first) and I didn't like it. I thought the beginning was rather slow, and the controls were a little hard to get used to. But, I am huge fan of Rainbow Six: Vegas. Does anybody recommend GRAW 2, or is it a waste of time and money?

It is a good game but if you weren't a fan of GRAW then GRAW2 most likely will not appeal to you.
Yes, GRAW had quite a steep learning curve and the fact that all the writing was tiny (the writing which tells you what buttons to press in tutorial) did not help at all.
