Interracial relationships- Becoming more accepted?

There's a site called: www.interracialrelationships.ca where there is a poll and a blog by an interracialcouple. Is it becoming more mainstream than before? Or do interracial relationships still make others uncomfortable?

I don't think it's becoming mainstream, but definitly more accepted particularly in Caucasan groups. Several of my friends including myself have been in an interracial relationships at one point or another. Most of the problems that resulted were more of "cultural" (based on how one was raised) differences within the relationship, rather than exterior problems such as society. On a side note, I think interacial couples have the most beautiful children!

I'd hate to think of interracial relationship as being mainstream....that seems like it's just a trend.
