Would you be in favor of abolishing helmet laws if in return anyone who dies while not wearing a helmet is assumed/forced to be an organ donor?

How bout we abolish the nanny state government and keep the right to decide our final resting place, hmmm...

the reason we have helmet laws (and seatbelt laws) is because of somthing called 'compelling state interest', what that means is that if somone is in a crash and didnt wear a helmet, resulting in being comatose, and did not have health insurance, the state would be stuck w/ the bill for taking care of them. most of the time (although it should be all of the time look what happened to the MURDERED terri chaivo) the state is stuck with the bill of keeping them alive. it isnt fair for me to have to pay for somones stupidity, so wear your goddamn helmet. but i am cool w/ making them organ donors when they do die. a note to everyone: regester to be an organ donor why the hell do you need to be buried w/ ur heart, kidneys, liver, etc?!?!

I think that this is an interesting question. In Florida, there are no helmet laws. I have no idea how how many motorcycle riders here are organ donors but I think it would be nice if everyone was.

nope that would not work as so many of the injuries sustained are so horrific even with a helmet that often the parts are not usable.............
lost far to many mates even with the use of helmets and after living in the UK for most of my childhood and now am in Florida and see people not helmets no shoes, shorts and t.shirts am almost physically sick seeing them drive by.......pretty much none of them survive..so sad and what a waste

No i wish there bodys ground up for fertilizer for my garden
there so full of sh. t to not wear helmets my tomatoes would grow BIG.
