i want to paint band names on a leather jacket but what paint should i use?

acrylic paints dry quickly, but can crack and flake when the leather moves & bends. Oil paint is more flexible, but make sure the leather is very well saturated with oil, then wiped before painting or the oil colors can "bleed". oils also take FOREVER to dry....... a week or more.

Talk to a tailor that works with leather. There is a special paint used on leather - you can't use just any paint because it will either ruin the leather or peel off quickly.

i tried using spray paint with that tracing thingy that u just tape on....it made the leather all crumply and hard to move than it was before...so go see some kinda tailor to tell you what kind of paint you could use

i think you can get leather paint. i think i saw it for shoes in a key cutter/shoe fixer shop thingy.

no paint is possible.
yes you can use some patch but then it is not advised.
