Try Euless. It is about halfway between Dallas and Fort Worth. We are in the HEB school district which is ranked in the top 4 in the state. There is housing for all price ranges, and great apartment complexes near Hwy 360 between Mid Cities Blvd and Harwood. We have an excellent park system that includes several miles of walking trails, a dog park, a fishing pier, and several play areas for the kids. The Midway rec center offers many great classes for the family, as well as summer, winter, and spring break camps that are more fun and more affordable than daycare. Euless has a great Arbor days festival every spring, and free Christmas and Easter events for the family. Good luck, and feel free to email me for more info!

Ok...
I have lived in the Fort Worth (Tarrant County area ) all of my life. I have lived in several areas of it too. Southwest Fort Worth is not the nicest. I currently live here. It is getting more and more crowded every year. I moved to this area about 10 years ago and like I said, it gets worse every year. Its one of the better I would say but I would go to Southlake area if you are really looking for a nice part of the area to live in. They have A+ public schools and shopping and the homes are to die for. I admit, they are a little pricey, but for the environment you cant beat it.

The South Hulen - Bryant Irving Rd area (by the mall) is one of the better parts of Ft Worth. Also Edgecliff Village (it is it's own city in Fort Worth) is pretty good if you are buying a house. Other than that for the most part Ft Worth pretty much sucks. Stay away from north side and east side because they are the worst parts of town.

southwest FW is very nice. My mother-in-law lives there. There is alot of traffic on North 820 between 35w and East 820. Stay away from East fort worth. Lots of crime. If you want to move just out side of Ft worth, Arlington is nice but no public transportation They do have the tx rangers and soon will have the Dallas Cowboys there.(IF you like sports). Arlington is surrounded by 4 highways. 183 to the north,360 to the east,I-20 to the south and 820 East to the west and highways 114 and 121 are only about 10 north on 360 and they will take u northwet and northeast respectfully.

No,No,No. The best place to live is in the Northwest area of FtWorth. The zipcode is 76135. It is growing so much out there. You have a wonderful school district. EagleMountain Saginaw ISD. The homes out there are amazing and costworthy. LakeWorth area now has a Kohls,Marshall Fields, Bed,Bath and Beyond, Target, they have just about everything out that way. Also you have Lake Worth lake and Eagle Mountain Lake, two lakes within 10 minutes of eachother. EMountain lake is about 18 miles long I believe. Great area to live in.

I was born in Tarrant County Texas and still living here. It is a good neighborhood. I think the newer parts of the city is better than the old ones because well just because.

Grapevine Texas. It's right outside the bigger Dallas/Ft. Worth area. It's a fantastic city. I lived there for years. You'd like it. Colleyville is good too.

Look for something in North Fort Worth - between I35, 820, and 377/Denton Hwy. You have easy access to the major roads but it's more suburban.
