I swear the models know the ammounts before they open the cases. One show the mom yelled $25 dollars and the model smiled at her before even peeking in the case. Checked it like 5 times.

I don't think it's fixed. I was actually at a taping this past September, and I didn't see anything that gave me any suspicion that it wasn't for real. It does however take them way too long to tape an hour show (we finally left after about 4 hours when they still weren't done). Who knew that a show where just cases are opened up would take that long! Going to the taping was fun, but the staff was a bit rude, and I'm not sure that I'd go to another taping. They didn't even want us to use the bathroom during it. The show we were at actually had a guy who was sitting next to me be the next contestant, and he had no idea he was going to play during that taping. If it's fixed, I think they do a good job of trying to cover it up.

I think they just do that what ever the case. After so many shows they are a bit jaded to the whole opening the case sensation.
