What message did you get from Mel Gibson's Apocalypto ?

The ending really made me stop and think.

There is a beautiful, inspiring German proverb which says:
Begin to weave and God will give you the thread.
In other words whatever you must do, do and Providence will help you along.
The main character of the movie had to overcome enormous difficulties to save his family, even when he was seconds away from death, his resolve never waivered.
The second message was that even if you have every reason to hate anyone don't give in because hatred poisons both the victim and the perpetrator.

Oh get over yourself.Mel is a great actor and producer.He brings forth another demons ion in Apocalypso.That beING what I have always said-the natives were their own worst enemy just like any other place on earth.The white man has been his own worst enemy and still is.The black man have sold them selves to the slave owners when you start reading the history also by them selling themselves to the slave traders.AND ON AND ON..I get so tired of thos bias opinionated racist world sometimes.Everyone wants to point fingers.MAN WILL NEVER GET RIGHT UNTIL WE ALL START WORSHIPPING THE REAL GOD..THE GOD OF ABRAHAM .IN MODERN TIMES WE HAVE BASICALLY STAYED AWAY FROM STUFF THAT IS CORRECT AND TRUTHFULL.THAT'S ALL MR GIBSON IS TRYING TO DO IN FILMS.SOMEONE NEEDS TO STEP UP AND TELL THE FACTS..TOO MUCH WITH WASHING OF FOLKS WE LIKE TO NAME ROADS AFTER NOWDAYS AND WAY TOO MUCH THROWN IN OUR FACE.JUST MY HUMBLE OPINION.GOD BLESS
