why do mexicans have refried beans

Some mexicans cook a big pot of beens, so their family can eat beens for a few days before they have to take a long time cooking them again.
The first two days the beens are very fresh and they just reheat them when they need. But after two days If you want that your beens don´t get spoiled, then you better blend them or smash them and fried them in a pan with oil or manteca (that´s what my mother says).
Beens are still going to be delicious and will last longer.
That´s why many restaurants also have beens like this.

people of all races eat refried beans,not just mexicans.

refried beans don't discriminate. they are sold and enjoyed by anyone...no matter what nationality!
