Try the Wolftones or the Dubliners (No Nay Never)
Paddy Reilly has a nice version of the song Irish Soldier Boy
Bing Crosby has a CD called My Favorite Irish Songs that is pretty good... the Dropkick Murphy's are good but they don't really sing actual irish songs

I personally love the Dropkick Murphys myself as it combines my love of loud intruments, bagpipes, pub and irish folk music all in one ear shattering funtastical style of music u can drink, fight get ur *** kicked and just plain have a good time to music.
But if thats not your after, and its more of the more "Traditional" Irish songs, u can try The Irish Rovers, The Dubliners, The Pouges, Boondock Saints and Flogging Molly.

The Dropkick Murphies are a good irish band, they open up the St. Patricks day parade in boston every year
