learning to go left is hard but essential players that can finish with both hands around the rim are hard to defend... you have to work on dribbling up and down the court with your left hand... don't start shooting until you can make it up and down the court four times... then start at the foul line and take a dribble (with your left) and try a left hand layup try to get ten... then see how many you can do in a row... find a wall and throw the ball off with your left hand... do that a number times..
its tough because if you are a righty its not natural.. but practice will get you there...

When I was a kid, I went out of my door to my outdoor/driveway rim with a lefthanded layup EVERY time. Video tapes work for you when you practice what they show.
Work left handed dribbling really low/kneeling down. Work on V-shaped left hand dribbling (sort of like one handed crossovers), then on actual crossovers. Practice one-dribble left hand drives from the free throw line/elbow. It really is just going to take lots of practice and by next season, your left hand skills will be sharp.

Your going to have got to train your ball manipulate along with your left hand and simply snapshot your self doing it previously and simply maintain working towards all you'll till you get higher at it . This will deliver you the flexibility to maintain the opposite staff from realizing your intentions and constructing for you . Good success I'm certain you'll be able to upgrade at it .

Learning to handle the ball with your left is very difficult especially if you're right handed. I think that basically what you need to do is to just practice doing it. I think if you learn to handle the ball with both left and right, you'll be unstoppable. Even when you do lay ups, it's good to be able to lay up with your left as well. I would suggest for you to just keep practicing lay ups and dribbling with your left - after all.......PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT:)
