I have noticed that liberals seem to huddle around and just talt to eachother about how right they all are. But you throw a conservative in there to ask some questions about why they believe what they believe, and all heck breaks loose, what happens, is that the conservative gets exploited and called stupid and ignorant for not agreeing exactly with what the majority believes, and then they go ahead and tell us that we dont like to be questioned on our beliefs because we have no viable evidence on why we believe them. What is wrong with this picture?

There is a common denominator among cons...all their questions are about liberals. Are you stalking me?

So we have something in common.

What they all have in common is that bleeding heart mentality that thinks terrorists who do not wear uniforms and attempt to or succeed in killing our brave women and men in combat deserve to have a lawyer and a trial instead of being summarily executed. Another thing they have in common is hypocrisy. Just consider Al Gore who tried to sue his way into the White House. Every minute he's not speaking about global warming he's either flying around in some fuel inefficient jet polluting the atmosphere and destroying the ozone layer, running up a $1200 electric bill every month in his 26 acre mansion or driving some large gas guzzling car.

Please hasten to a reliable dictionary. A "liberal "is simply defined as "One who is generous of spirit." It is not the new "N" word. What you seem to be describing is a group of people who demand concrete answers to your abstract theories. If you can't handle that? Just opt for more time on your Xbox.
Sorry, don't mean to be snide. I wish you knew better than to foam at the mind when a rabies vaccine would fix you right up. I'm trying to be generous of spirit but it just doesn't take with some folks.

Interesting observation.
I tried recently to debate with a liberal - it's damn near impossible. None of my points were addressed, none of my questions were answered and I kept getting the same replies.
It seems he just kept repeating his beliefs and conclusions - like they were valid facts instead of just his opinion. It's hard to have a one sided debate when no matter what you ask - the question is ignored, and, instead, followed up with just a repetition of what he has already pointed out - numerous times.

the elementary denominator between maximum religions is an attempt to attain as much as the eternal, to discover long existence or fulfilment or perfection. whether there is one that is distinctive. Christianity (and Judaism coated to three volume) differs in that it tells the story of ways God reaches right down to humanity, with the intention to repair mankind's fellowship with God!

I guess that could be true with you, but I know my Conservative and Liberal friends like discussing with each other. It makes for a more exciting and worth while debate.

As a liberal, I'm sorry if that's happened to you. I don't think conservatives are stupid. But I do think that people shouldn't be afraid to examine their opinions in the light of the available evidence.

Of course in your mind conservatives are perfect little angels. Yeah right. Both sides are guilty and you know it.

Um, I don't think that the scenario you described is limited to liberals only. It's called the human condition. People befriend those who share their views and ignore information that contradicts those views. We all do it.

It's just that liberals do it after reading books and getting advanced degrees whereas people like you do it after drinking grain alcohol and watching NASCAR.

They seem to have no beliefs except the belief in the anti-war movement....beyond that it is the same Democratic party that has been lost for over 12 years... No direction, no new idea...

They would have us believe the world will be great once we leave Iraq....hmmm but no ideas on how to do it
