I get this all the time....and it's kinda gross. I don't understand why I get emails/IM's from strangers on the internet trying to be suave and ask me what turns me on or what not when they KNOW I AM MARRIED...HAPPILY. Are guys looking for married women or what?

Here is some feedback. My definintion of all the time is a few times a month. Maybe it's my yahoo profile that I thought only my friends could see? And maybe they don't know that I am HAPPILY married but definitely know I am married....and my picture is not fake, but thanks for the compliment-jerk. I am not fishing for compliments from other ppl....if I was I wouldn't be complaining about the horny pigs out there.

Men who behave this way are just trying to stroke their own egos. It's pathetic and stupid. I had this same problem for years and I just became so tired of all the stupid come-ons and sexual inuendos etc. Somewhere along the way I started to realize that even though the guys that were doing this kind of thing to me were jerks, that I had a part in the way I was being treated. What made me realize this was that I had several really goodlooking girlfriends who never seemed to have this problem and it had something to do with the way I either was acting or reacting to these 'jerks'. I really can't even put my finger on it but once I began to take my part of the responsibility for the situation it seems to just quit happening. So I would suggest that you look at your own behavior to see how you are (probably inadvertantly)contributing to the problem. I really couldn't address the internet problem because I don't give info of any kind to any one about me where they are able to email me. And to answer your last question...yes, many, many, many guys are always looking for women, married or not.

It must be your amazingly stunning looks and your terrific figure and your magnetic personality that comes across even through your e-mail inbox.
You what I've found over the years? Women who are constantly being pestered by men are usually ASKING to be constantly pestered by men.
If you continue to contend that it's all internet email, then it's SPAM and EVERYONE gets those letters so you aren't as special or singled out as you might think. If the emails are the result of something you are doing, then stop doing that. Like flirting with guys online (otherwise, how else would they KNOW you are "happily married"?), sending them photos, and then going "oh tee-hee you're so naughty - you *know* I'm happily married, don't you, you naughty little man? tee-hee." Look at your picture even here on answers.
You are leaving out something about how all these men know you, know you are married, know how to write to you, and all that. Time to start admitting your behavior is a major part of the problem.

Well I guess its safer on-line than at the bar where the women can kick you in the nuts....or her husband can beat you into the middle of next week. Not really sure what people get from cyber sex...or lack of LOL never did understand that but then I am old....and still have to have the REAL thing LOL

The why is easy. Its to have you. Thats it. No rocket science. Something about you makes people want to be with you, whether it be your personality, your physical features, or charisma. It does not matter. Some guys are looking for married women, it can be what turns them on.

I get this alot too but i tell them that i am happily married and if they keep it up i block them and report them as spam to yahoo... Sometimes they dont listen and cannot take no for an answer so this is the only way to get through to them is to block them so this is what you should do they they cannot and will not bother you anymore. They like a challenge that is why they do this. you need to tell them that it is none of their business what turns you on and that your husband turns you on and that is all that matters. Tell them to get a life.

its the fact that ur married, some guys like the fact of trying to get a woman that is already taken, boosts their ego, and for some they feel they can have an affair with a married woman because she has just as much to lose as they do if it gets out..

Geesh...can't you find anything more serious to b-i-t-c-h about? The truth is you like getting the emails and you like b-i-t-c-h-i-n-g to others that your getting them. The emails make you feel desirable, even if they are from total strangers and inappropriate.

Well, how do they get your e-mail address and IM name? It seems like you might enjoy getting this attention, I mean you are married and various men are giving you attention and letting you know that you are "sexy". Anyways, it's the whole fact that you are most-likely unavailable to them and you are a challenge. Also, they are MEN...they don't care if you are married.
