I would like you to post your views as a society on youth and drug use. This would really help me out thank you?

youth and drug use: as an 18 year old, in high school, as a senior... ive witnessed many of my peers- since maybe the 7th grade openly talk about their drug and alcohol use. ive known of 2 people who made big bucks during the first 2 years of school selling alcohol.
i know of 4 peers who do meth on a regular basis.
i know of 2 peers who do mushrooms every now and then-- they also sell and do peyote-(sp?)
i know of 2 peers who do cocaine. they graduated last year.
and apparently everyone smokes weed.
i think its sad. i hate it when people talk about doing drugs.. sometimes it seems as though theyre trying to show off.. trying to flaunt their drug use. its stupid. its illegal. its pathetic that they cant find pleasure through other ways.. its disgusting.
drugs are bad. period. alcohol is bad, too.
why are drugs bad? because society says so? yes! but also because it screws with people! ... staying natural is the way to go.. toxins --- blah! yuck to drugs and druggies.
why do young people do drugs? i dont know.. i suppose its because its 'cool', cause it feels good.. i dont know.

People use drugs, some people can control it, some cant! Personally, so long as the drugs are just recreational and not used in excess, I don't particuarly have a problem with drug taking. I don't do it myself though, didn't like the morning after, rotting liver feeling!!
Youth was great when it lasted,, I think,,, But i look at all the young ones now. Im only 24 by the way. But anyway, I look at the young ones starting out on the scene and think, thank f**k I'm not still them.

I’m a high school student and every day I see how people ruin their lives because of drugs, how drugs have affect they way they are, and how people defend it. The ones to blame are the parents because here(In USA) I notice that they just don’t care, all the people that I know that use drugs their parents have been kin negligent to them, or are in denial. Parents are the ones that should talk to their kids about drugs,

my view is that today's youth are spoilt and lack empathy. Today's media (pop-stars B.B) give them the belief that they are more special than anyone else and deserve whatever they want, making for a selfish society. As for drugs, I think we should use them to sedate them all until, the age of 25.

kids these days get away with far too much, too gobby, too loud, as for drugs well anyone who takes them should be booted off to mars, wont happen though will it? smackead losers...
