at first 50mg,second around my dr.advice me to double the dosage..so my quistion is is it possible to get prego?my ryt side fallupian tube has blocked but i have 1 that is ok...so how can i knw that im ovulate?what is the symptoms?

i started clomid 2 months ago..at first my doc gave me 25 mg, next month she doubled it to 50 mg...last month i was so depressed that i started crying infront of her so she gave me 100 mg from 3rd day of my cycle to 8th day. i tested yesterday with a home pregnancy test strip...got a positive...tested today twice...again got positives on both of them. so i will go to my doc in the eve as well for blood test. i am happy really happy coz i was trying for last 11 months and every time i tried the test it was negative. today i am a day late for my period..with a positive result...dont worry :) u will also get pregnent but it takes time and patience...hope my example gives you hope...

I took clomid too and had to increase the dose after the first cycle because I didn't get pregnant. I did get pregnant after they increased the dose. I have a healthy four year old boy now. I also have a three year old son too, an accident. Because I had to take the clomid to get pregnant with the first we weren't at all careful after the first was born.
One thing I did when I was taking the medication is measure my basal body thermometer every single morning and charted it on a graph. Your temp will go down lower than usual and the next day it will go higher than usual and you will know that you ovulated and need to have sex if you haven't already. Check it out. It totally worked for me.

I took it but didnt fall pregnant even on the maximum dose. It has varying results. I didnt like the side effects.
Why dont you type "clomid" into the search field in answers and look at other questions relating to this drug.
I believe the drug assists your body to ovulate and there are no guarantees that you will fall pregnant this way.
