Use a good mature-skin moisturizer to minimize the lines over time.
Use a foundation intended for mature skin - you could be using a foundation that's too drying and that will accentuate the lines.
Also try not to use too much powder in that area, it will collect in the lines and make them look bigger.

I would suggest a primer (sephora has a great one!) on the face before using your foundation, this stuff evens out the face and smooths the skin for better application. If all else fails, go buy some mineral makeup, it doesnt settle into fine lines or wrinkles.

have u tried the new mineral makeup? There is one in just about every makeup line...i love Loreal products (just about all I use and Im a makeup artist)...
pretty much anything you rub into you skin will sink into your wrinkles what u want to do is dust it over your face...do you need full face coverage or can you get away with only hitting certain spots of your face? Most people dont need full coverage at all...

Someone else mentioned mineral makeup above and I agree. To me that is the best foundation out there right now. Bare Minerals is a dream come true for me because I have sensitive skin, so I like that it natural minerals on the skin instead of gunk. (lol)

Try some of the new mineral make up instead? Bare Minerals is wonderful.
Also, maybe try using a primer before applying the foundation. A good primer (or moisturizer), will give you a smooth canvas for the make up.

I would skip the powder. It cakes up and shows flaws.
