I coudln't believe it was actually in the United States. It looked like something from the streets of Iran! American citizens burned a "soldier" to protest the war!!! It looked like those pictures of the burned contractors from Fallujah! Check it out!

The pictures were linked from the Drudge Report. They are certainly not mine. I would have a great deal of trouble being around people who behaved in such a way without wishing they were in the uniform the dummy wore. The pictures are not professional. They're snapshots an attendee took. Is this the way people show their support for our troops? Burning their likeness? I also read that accompanying that display were such supportive statements on posters as "F*ck the troops!"

mcd...All Drudge does is link news from other sources around the world on his site. He doesn't pull things out of thin air. Apparently you just take your talking points from others and dont' research them yourself.

This is all typical of what we have come to expect from The "peaceful", "tolerant" left. No surprise.

I think that this should be seen as a death threat against our troops and therefore treason and therefore punishable by law.

Imagine if some group did that with a "gay" dummy or a "minority group" dummy. It would be considered a hate crime.
Not that I think anyone should do that, but why is there such a double standard.

How do you think this makes the soldiers feel who are laying their life on the line for these punks. Some of the mwere such cowards that they wouldn't even show their faces. Maybe it was the Dixie Chicks in disguise.

I read about this morning and I was appalled. Burning a soldier in effigy on U.S. soil....they should all be prosecuted.
