With Sanjaya still being on the show, what's up? Are they using him, trying to bring up their phone votes? With each passing week, do they think people will get upset seeing their favorites being voted off the show, just to make room for the teenage singer that has no talent? What do you think?

I hope he last for awhile A.I. deserves what they get with him being still on this is the worst season ever I hope this will end A.I.
I think that its all a popularity contest, most of the winners have not produced much compared to the runners up.

I completely agree with you, but i dont think that it is the american idol producers are the ones who are keeping sanjaya in the competition, it's Howard Stern and his stupid votefortheworst.com where the haters of american idol try to control the show by voting for the worst. Many supporter are voting for him for the reasons that he his young, cute or hott (i Dont think that tho), and/or they feel bad for him and give him pity votes. im tired my the great singers getting kicked off because people arent listening to what is actually coming out of sanjaya's mouth. Maybe there is too much hair covering his ears so that he thinks he is actually good? :-)

It just proves that the show is more about popularity then about actual talent. Maybe america has gotten tired of the idea of picking a talented idol...maybe they want sanjaya just to tick off simon.

There needs to be a way to vote AGAINST the ones you don't like. Sanjaya would've been gone on the first night if we could do that.

i think that the show is rigged in some way. there is no way that sanjaya could still be on the show based solely on "america's" votes...
but i still watch it so i can see how much they mess with americas votes...

It's also a conspiracy set up by www.voteforthewost.com and Howard Stern to really mess up American Idol by keeping him around. I think it's hilarious and I'll be voting for Sanjay too.
