There are cases of women getting pregnant after a tubal ligation, but it's not very common. If you're having abdominal pain also, I'd definitely call your doctor or go to the ER depending on how bad the pain is because you could have an ectopic pregnancy which is dangerous if not treated. I'd pay attention to things and start a log of what's going on so that you can explain it to your doctor. If things are irregular over the next few weeks, I'd definitely talk to your doc and get a pap sper and a pelvic exam to make sure everything's ok.

hate to say it, but you're older now and that creates problems for your reproductive system.

having a tubaligation is the most surest way of preventing pregnancy. the success of the procedure depends on the skills of the physician and ninety-nine per cent of the time, the operation is a success. however, in the world i live in, nothing is 100%.

your best bet is, your period is changing. start keeping a diary of the dates of your period, its color, the amount of flow, and its length of time. do this for about three months; then present the diary to your doctor as a history.

don't panic, or stress out. eventually, it happens to all women.
