I was just wondering whats the earliest people with extra weight felt your baby move? What did it feel like? Gas bubbles. . ?

It depends on your body size, whether this is your first baby, etc.

With my first, I didn't feel him until I was pretty far along. And he was KICKER. I knew he was there!

This one I started to feel around 14 weeks, and it feels like little butterflies roaming around. It's really gentle and sweet. :-)

Well, I am average size, about 150 pds 5 foot 8, so not skinny but not fat. And I felt my baby KICK at 19 weeks! she sure is a mover. I never felt flutters, butterflies or gas bubbles. None of that. Just that tiny kick one day. And to be honest with you, your size has nothing to do with it. Since the baby is kicking you from the inside, youll feel it. some just move harder sooner. Good luck, hope I helped!

this is my first pregnancy, and I felt the "flutters" for the first time between 13 and 14 weeks.

It all depends on how in tune you are with your body. I have heard it decribed it so many different ways.

the first few times i felt him it felt like a tidal wave in my tummy. now... (I am 17 weeks) It feels like a popping or twitching... VERY strange. it feels as if he is jumping all around sometimes lol.

I have not felt what people decribe as butterfly flutters.... but everyone decribes it in their own way. These feelings did not feel like gas to me, but because it is some kind of movement within your body (most women arent used to feeling unless it is gas) you assume it is gas... or that it may feel like it. But it is a very strange sensation with no urge to... let go :)

good luck and i hope you feel your baby soon! it just reminds you of your job every now and then :)

I'm overweight, but started feeling the baby about 17 or 18 weeks. It feels like gas bubbles, but not like when you have gas...if that makes sense. It's in different spots. The "bubbles" have gotten alot stonger now...I was able to start feeling the kicks outside at 23 weeks. My husband even got to feel them to. Now at 25 weeks they come more frequently. It's pretty cool.

I felt my first one when I was 14 weeks. It was a light fluttering feeling. I felt my second one earlier than that, and i had put on quite a bit of weight (50lbs) between the two pregnancies. It has nothing to do with your weight as to when you first feel the baby move, only as to when others will be able to(sometimes).
