I prefer BF2 since I own it and it is more modern. What are the Flaws of 2142.

They're both really excellent games, Battlefield 2 w/ expansion is really nice. You can drive tanks and all other assortments of vehicles. In 2142 it shows you more of a star wars kinda battle. You have different planets you can visit and do battle on over 300 different game and custom made levels. All in all I would say check them both out and decide for yourself. In my opinion though they are both really excellent.

Well, according to my experience( and also my friend's), Battlefield 2 is better because Battlefield 2142 is not modern combat but future combat. Modern combat is better than future combat.

same developer right? i havnt played 2142 but the upgrades cant be too segnificat. if you like lasers and walking robots get 2142. if you like more realistic modern combat then like everyone else says get 2.
