I used it too. Honestly, it works and clears up acne for people who have light to mild REGULAR acne, for people who have blackheads, whiteheads, and bumps.
It does take a while to completely clear up though, from a week to a month, and usually the first things you'll notice is the blackheads washing away and whiteheads gettin "ready" to pop... your skin will get worse at first, then it will calm down after a week or two.
The reason why I dont use it? because I have cystic acne and regular acne, which makes my acne a mild-severe condition. I dont mess with these bumps becasue they leave horrible scars and marks on my face.
I've experimented and realized that people with cystic acne should NOT use any type of acid or peroxide medicated face washes! they will only make your skin WORSE! I promise!
TRY THIS:
I use natural ingredient products. a basic bar of soap for the face made with natural ingredients and wont clog your pores. Right now I've found what I beleive to be my miracle bar. it's called Black Soap. I swear it's wonderful! my skin has gotten smoother and is clearing up while lightning my scars! my skin glows! I also use a aloe face cream. Aloe is good for scars, irritations, inflamed skin, and bacteria. These two together are miracle workers.
all you people who buy proactive will wish you would have saved $50 and just bought this $1.10 soap and $2 aloe cream from walmart. THey arent big brands but WORK SO WELL!
Hope this helps!

I used it about 2 years ago and I didnt like it.
It takes SOO long to see the results and it would bring out vry bump on my face. I didnt have bad acne, so maybe it wasnt that dramatic for me, but maybe if your face is more extreme than you would see a difference.
Also, it has to be something your persistent with. You have to do it every night and every morning and if you miss a day, then your face will break out!
One thing I did like about it was the "refining mask" it really gets rid of a pimple if you put it on it and leave it on over night, its gone the next day!!
Good luck, Im sure its worth the invstment if you use it correctly, I just dont have that patience!!

ProActiv works for some, doesnt work for others. It is NOT a miracle product, it all depends on your skin type. Find your skin type here in the link listed in sources. If you have sensitive skin, it most likely will make things worse. After finding your skin type, the search for good products narrows and you have more likely chances for finding a good product. Also, ProActiv takes about one to three months for it to show any difference, keep using it regularly unless irritation occurs ( i.e. dryness, flakes, cystic pimples, redness, rash etc.) If all else fails, see a dermatiologist for good skin care products.

I hope this has helped and good luck on the quest for perfect skin!

like any acne system, u have to use it for around a month to get any results at all...
personally, i'm not into that(i actually have acne -- not too bad though)...and i tried the refining mask(i wear it for hours at a time...sometimes put it on before i go to bed)...and THAT WORKS WONDERS!!! i just bought another Proactive refining mask!!! it is amazing!!! i use it almost every day now!!! my pimples are disappearing and same with the redness!!! also, it keeps me from touching my face!!! it worked wonders the first time i used it and it just keeps making my face better and better! TRY THE REFINING MASK!!! IT WORKS~!!!:D

For me, it does. You have to give it a while, though. After the trail batch ran out I was ready to throw it away but now, after I have been using it for a little over two months, I wouldn't go a night without it! I don't even wear make-up anymore. But a lot of people say they have trouble with it so take this with a grain of salt.

I used it and I loved it...I noticed a difference after the first time I used it...literally....
and as soon as I stopped using it and went back to my regular stuff (because of $ and convienance) I broke out so freaking bad that I broke down and went back to it...
but like everything else it depends on the person...most people I know didnt like it at all and tried to get me not to waste my money....so it depends on your skin and how "proactive" (no pun intended) you are on washing your face two times daily

i've used it for about 6 or 7 years now. i don't see a big difference. i believe that it works a little bit, but the main part is just not touching your face with your dirty fingers.

My 19 year old sister ordered it. Her acne was moderate. Within 2 days.....all gone....no breakouts/acne of any kind since.

sure does!! but its proven that after your face gets used to it (usually after about 6 months---everyones different) it doesnt work as well anymore...i have used it off and on because my face gets used to it too quickly!
