be proud of who u are. and just because u wear a certain name brand, or listen to a certain type of music doesnt mean that ur "acting black". Ur not doing anyting but being youself. you dont have to be black to listen to rap, or wear fubu, sean jean, and all that.

First and foremost what exactly is "black?" Am I not "black" because I don't listen to rap? FUBU and Sean John have never touched my body. Does that decrease my "blackness?" Attributes of "black" people are just as complex and varied as our skin tones.
It is blantantly ignorant for you to say all those statements. You have just sterotyped all "black" people. Not all "black" people live "the ghetto life" or even are spiritual. We all don't go around shucking, jiving and grinning with the biggest smile on our faces either.
People probably look weird when you speak ebonics because you sound ignorant. Ebonics is not a language, it's a disgrace.
You are also saying other races are not happy or cool. There are aspects about every culture that makes it cool.
Furthermore "black" is a color or skin tone, not a culture.

No need to hate yourself - if you like so many things about "black culture" then go ahead and immerse yourself in it. It's too bad that other look/act weird because of the way you speak etc. All I can say is try not to pay attention to it and just be yourself.
Haha- anyway Asians are cool in my book :)

That is stupid, you must love your race, and not be unthankful because youre a different color,
Come on dont post a question like this,
Ughh i wish everyone was blind so they wouldnt judge by color. i mean where is the love? I thought we were past the great depression!

well good for you...
but I'll prefer if you don't group all black under a specific umbrella..... cause like any other race, we are very diverse and differnt.

For you to want to be black you sure stereotyped all of us, so I'll take this as a cry for attention.

Dude, you're a HUMAN just like everyone else. Your taste in clothing or music does not affect the person you are.
