If you were the waitress that served me, Amanda, you'll know I left you a 50 % tip :)

I can only imagine. I went out last weekend with just one 3 year old. I was stressful to say the least. There was more food on the floor than in her mouth. She threw a fit and got ketchup every where including my shirt. Spilled her drink three times The waitress completley ignored us after a while but I don't blame her.

I take my 6 year old, my 3 yr old niece, my 3 year old and 10 month old to restaurants by myself at least once a week. I never have a problem. I always make sure they are entertained and know the rules before we go in. I also stand by it when I say "If you aren't good we will leave." I only have problems if I take my 5 year old niece along...then it's crazy times with her and my 6 year old...even when I have another adult to help!

Kudos for the big tip! I was a waitress once and always enjoyed the big tips after a hard table.

Nope...we just have the one. One of my favorite memories of eating out with kids is when we took Michelle to a place in San Diego called The Olde Spaghetti Factory. She left such a mess under her high chair...and we left a decent tip.

Oh yes. Young children and having to sit through a meal is never a fun time until you look back on it.

Oh yeah, my youngest are 3 & 5 now, but it's always interesting to go out to eat with them, to say the least. We just recently started going out again. At 3 & 1, I don't think we left the house. I admire your bravery! Kudos!
Edit:
Amanda - the fun waitress - we LOVE you & THANKS! Don't you always appreciate a nice wait staff & tip them LOTS b/c they put up with your kids???
