Yeah Carr is gone. The O-line in houston is horrible. The texans should have traded down last year and selected a couple of O-lineman. Ferguson and Mangold both played well for the Jets and the Texans could have had either of them.

I like Schaub but he will struggle in Houston because of the line.Ahman Green will not help him much either.

Carr can be successful. I could see him in a Raiders uniform (He played college ball at Fresno State) and the Raiders taking Calvin Johnson with the first overall in the draft.

I also want to put a disclaier out there. I'm NOT a Raider fan.

Yup. He'll go somewhere else and become a fairly good QB, while Matt Schaub struggles in Houston, because until Houston gets a better O line, it doesnt matter who they put at QB. Houston is so close to having a good offense, all they need is a pretty good O line that will allow Schaub to actually have time to get the ball to Andre Johnson, which will make life a lot easier for Ahman Green. As for David Carr, the Raiders may trade that number one selection for David Carr and maybe Houston's second or 3rd round pick.

Looks like it......
The horrible O line will not help Schuab at all...... It's not Carr's fault he was so bad........ But I think Schuab will do a lot better though with a kind of weapon like Andre Johnson. The only chance for the Texans to at least get 6-10 is depending on their defense. DeMeco Ryans has to be extra good (At least 100 tackles and 5 sacks) and Mario Williams has to have a 5 sacks season too... Plus they need to draft the best guy left on the draft (Well I think Texans are bad at all the positions but...)

The end for David Carr came when the Texans drafted him and forgot to put a line in front of him. It's hard to throw from your backside.

I truly hope that he goes to a team where he will someday realize his potential.

Having Carr in Detroit with Mike Martz would be sweet. The Lions can pass block but, they suck at run blocking. Carr would sit behind Kitna a year, and learn Martz system, then step in the next year and be a pro bowler.

I will bet Carr, hopes it is. He is a good quarterback and, still young. it would be great if, He could hook up with a team that, actually has an offensive line.

it is the end of carr but he is an average qb that folds, makes bad choices but can only win if his team is superior as a whole, he wont win games for you but will def lose em

would you want a quarterback whos won 22 of 75 games when you can use a guy who may as well be a rookie with so much potential and is very unknown for defenses?

it appears so, which sucks because carr is a good QB, its not his fault he had no OLine in front of him. i dont know if shaub will fair any better, because he isnt particularly mobile.
